First Pin for Panther
Skagway wrestler Kahled Jezini pins an opponent in the first round of a match in Petersburg last weekend. It was the Skagway teams only victory. Weather kept the Panthers from getting to Petersburg until Saturday and they had no time to warm up, said coach Josh Coughran. The other high point was a great match between Crystal Ketterman and Petersburgs Alena Nilsen, which Skagway lost on points at the end. Michelle Harris also lost a tough match in overtime. The Panther grapplers head to Sitka Nov. 5-6 for their next meet. Klas Stolpe, Petersburg Pilot
