-Heard on the Wind-

A lady from New York asked a local, “How do you survive without a mall or Macy’s? Don’t you even have a supermarket like Safeway?”

A visitor reported that a tour bus driver told him that the “school in Skagway shuts down for three weeks every winter because of the cold.”

Have we started turning a deaf ear, dears? Surely there is more out there than this. Email the windy one at or drop off your submissions at the News Depot.
