Cancer walk this Saturday
The annual Fran Delisle Cancer Awareness Walk from Dyea to Skagway will be held this Saturday, June 12.
It’s not just for women! Men and children are welcome as well to walk for life. All proceeds go to a fund to asssist local residents with cancer screenings.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Elks, and the bus ride to Dyea is at noon. There’s also a silent auction at the Elks from 2-5 p.m.
