Seward’s Day concert at AB
Miss Tess and the Talkbacks will be in Skagway to perform live on Monday, March 25 at the AB Hall at 6:30 pm. Presented by the Skagway Arts Council, this trio is inspired by styles of vintage swing, blues, country, and early rock-n-roll and draws comparisons to artists such as Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Peggy Lee and Chuck Berry, while maintaining a style of their own.
This 2008 Boston Music Award winning band produces an eclectic, jazzy, old school and interesting vibe and gets major points for originality. Check out www.misstessmusic.com.
Admission is $12 adults/$7 students/seniors; $2 discount to SAC members. This event is supported in part by a Harper Arts Touring Fund grant, funded by the Rasmuson Foundation and administered under contract by the Alaska State Council on the Arts. – SAC
