“Do you have the same sun here as we have in California?” a visitor asked.

“What does the USCG stand for,” a visitor asked a United States Coast Guard representative, in uniform.
“University of Southern California at Goleta.”
“Oh, okay.”

A man on the boardwalk talking on a cell phone is overheard commenting about having no reception on the cruise ship: “They gotta put more of these antennas out in the ocean.”

A wide-eyed lady approaches a clerk in a shop and exclaims, “I’m so happy to see you!”
The confused clerk replies, “Do I know you?”
“No, I’m just so happy to finally see someone who’s born and raised in Skagway!”
“But I wasn’t born and raised here, m’aam,” the clerk replies. “Why would you think that?”
“Oh,” she sighs. “So you mean that your beard and long hair are just for show?”
